For Parents, Guardians, & Caregivers
High school students are preparing for greater independence, but guidance and support still matter. Encourage them to make decisions, ask questions, explore different possibilities, and take increasing responsibility for their own learning while knowing they still have somewhere to turn when they need help.
The goal is not for every student to have their entire future planned before graduation. It is to help them build the skills, confidence, and knowledge they will need to make thoughtful choices as new opportunities and responsibilities arise.
